I am a multidisciplinary digital artist, writer, and founder of Thistle & Thread. Most of my work is rooted in grief, nature, and transformation, where I strive to explore the tension between ruin and rebirth. Through poetry, publishing, and artistic expression, I aim to give voice to what’s often left unsaid.

Hi, I’m Ashley~ The heart behind Love and Mercy Photography Wife to my best friend, Billy, for over 20 years and proud mom to three incredible grown kids, I know firsthand just how quickly time flies. It’s that deep understanding — how fast the little moments become cherished memories — that fuels my passion for capturing life as it truly is. In 2022, I followed a long-held dream and stepped fully into the world of photography. By 2023, Love and Mercy Photography was born — and what a beautiful journey it’s been. Since then, I’ve had the joy of working with so many wonderful clients, telling their stories through honest, heartfelt images. My passion lies in capturing the beauty of life, nature and landscapes, not just to share the art itself, but to make a meaningful impact. I envision in the future printing and framing my work for others to enjoy, while donating a portion of the proceeds to local charities. Through this, I hope to give back to the community and support those in need.
